Having a few naps out of 500 players hardly qualifies one to be a coward Ultima. Remind me later who you are as I cant recal you EVER having done anything worth noticing or brave here beside your little outbreak below...newb..

Ultima: How many times did you hit the UW?

It went off because he played both sides ( admittedly one more than the other ), he wanted to set off the UW and knew he would need Eden and Dotv to, for hte most part, layoff.. So he sold out..

If either DoTV or Eden went hard after that it may have been a different story..

Sounds like you are all cowards. NAP NAP NAP NAP. You`re all so brave thats why you have NAPs with everyone. Oh so mighty brave warriors you all. Instead of fighting you have tea time with each other.

And on another note. As a GC player, I`m ashamed that a UW with any kind of queen/runner in it`s stacks was allowed or even able to go off. 3 stacks of them, wow...just pitiful. And we talk about UC having no talent. I laugh while I hang my head.

Well, my complaining is mostly on a personal note having spend quite some on msg with Cesaria. Cant help but feel a little betrayed as I thought as was getting to know the dude. However, thats fair enough - its a game - you play and win and sometimes you loose.

I wouldnt mind doing a uw Atreides - not at all and Im afraid to do it. Someone else is in line first though but you can start your BTC stacking now if you want to stop me eventually.

About breaking the NAP:
Cesaria proclaims hes going to start the uw friday at 6 or 7 pm. We had most players catogorised either as for or against - except you. You then make the (at the time ridiculous) offer that you guys will support if its a nonfed uw. We would never want to do that. The idea suck!
So thursday evening (as neither grono or I had time friday) we get together and weigh the situation. Youre not responding clearly - you say youre waiting for a response to your offer - and we agree that you wont let this happen and that youre just stalling so that you can get a hit in with your fleet. I think it took us 45 min to break the NAP where we thought about it to make sure what we did made the most sense.
The NAP was ending nonetheless. Why would we give you the chance to stop a uw that you so obviously wouldnt want to defend and why would we give you heads-up so you would have chance to hit using your 160 mill fleet (which turned out to be mostly fodders, I know, but still with a lot of cap ships)
Quit mentioning that NAP. In a sence, you broke it when you didnt answer to the "yes-I`ll-support", or "no-I-wont-support" question! I`ll say it again, we made it clear that we would not leave you alone if you didnt answer so in a sence you were warned.

(btw, about being brave atreides - Im not the one with en empire that can always explore..)

Atreides you said you weren`t sure to support it or not, although that might have been the truth at the time, normally people who say that are against. I even informed you that we would hit anyone that wasn`t known to support just to be sure (I even waited until you opened my pm before we attacked you).

That`s not really breaking the NAP is it? Or should we have waited for Cesaria to start his UW so you couls hit him? It`s not like you never saw this attack coming. On another note, Balzac has been breaking the NAP several times in the past so don`t point your finger at us.

I agree it`s kinda funny that this happened, but no one got really better from this so it`s no big deal really Everyone lost the same so nothing has changed really. That with Anfit was much worse when he left your fed and joined us so we kinda deserved it maybe :P

I`m quite sure though that Cesaria himself didn`t really want to join you guys and screw us over entirely mr. nice guy. Cesaria is kinda naive so that`s why you were able to scare him while we could have pulled this off without your cooperation.

im not gonna debate on things that didnt happen, if you think i cant do it that`s up to you (i do mean wipe his fleet) and we`re not historias user fed. we like fleet to fleet confrontation =) and do have a long tradition foiling EoE`s UW. why dont you try a UW brave Africa, you`re not afraid to fail right...

i dont have a killer fleet up in the ranks, no need to hit me really nor to gang me lol. but if you gonna break A NAP, do have the courtesy informing us. You do mean it took you 5 minutes to decide to break the NAP... i was waiting for cesaria to respond if he`s going fedless, thats why i didnt gave a clear respond and i didnt expect you guys to break the NAP before the UW. I would understand if i was hit during the UW, then the NAP will still be honoured. but you`re afraid of me hehe *joke

dunno why you guys complain on getting betray, when you are used to do betrayals. Believe me the fed- switch did cross on our mind... it was a fair result if you ask me.

Dei is right on the fact that you couldnt have done squat to stop this uw even if you had tried. The fact that you did as much damage as you did was because the uw fleet might have been the worst seen in the history of GC (all the runner/straf thing, no flysch etc).

We never trusted Atreides, hence the clearing of him (which took 5 min) We trusted darck (still do even though I`ll slap him with a trout when I see him next time...lol..)

You think you`re the only one with Historias. I bet we can match every historia you guys have with a BTC and keep on going. If that is the reason Cesaria betrayed, cause he was afraid to fail, then hes a coward..

That being said - if you guys had this planned all along then gg to you - ever since Cesaria joined on whenever this started. You did fine and I cant put a finger on it..lol.. (dont understand why he didnt join you guys though?)

And ren - I think its hilarious. I was lying in my bed yesterday thinking about it - made me laugh.. God I love this game!

Cesaria betrayed several trusts, mine included. I was allowed into EoE at the end, ren, because I supported Cesaria`s attempt the entire way and allowed him to climb.

Yes, Atreides... Cesaria kept his word to YOU. To a couple people who held a death sentence over his head. He betrayed everybody who had helped him for the past several months.

Secondly, you were all up there because of the EoE/DotV NAP. I don`t claim to know whether EoE could have kept you from the ranks or not, but your assertion that you stopped this UW purely on your own might is absolutely absurd. This UW succeeded through deception and betrayal.

That said, I`m not particularly partial to either side. I have good friends in both EoE and DotV, which is why I hate to see them fight.

Regardless, it was an interesting twist to the end of the UW. I didn`t really know Cesaria, I only supported him because my friends asked me to, so his betrayal of me is not that big of a deal.

As for my resources, ren... I`m not terribly concerned about their loss. I didn`t know if I was going to be allowed in until the very end, and I was more or less impartial. The extra billions that I lost are more or less meaningless in the grand scheme of things. :)

i keep my word and didnt finish him off. he wanted to retired with his name on the UW list. he deserved it. you think you did a good job defending the UW, think again...

we foiled EoE UW in the past and several times successfully pull ours. get your fact straight. the last EoE UW was a fed switch.

whatever, I suppose it was a bit too easy but keeping your word to some while lying through your teeth to others is not `a nice guy keeping his words`. Still I suppose that in a conversation when we hear that no UW will work without edens blessing and, at the same time, eden got punked it must mean we are doing something right.

Subterfuge is a legit way to win a battle when you cant compete directly so congrats to the traitor and his associates on a well thought out win..

Give him a break, Cesaria is a nice guy and he kept his words. You think his UW will last 12 hours if he didnt made a deal with us =) . we could have done a fed switch but it was ruled out , too evil. DotV are the good guys here... ;)

EoE broke the NAP (got screwed too) and the 2 players you hit hard manage to chip almost 2/3 of his UW fleet =). I was pretending i got historias hehe.

Heck, Yall even let Deiloche in so he woulden`t lose so much, thats like a double owned..Hate me all you want but if you aren`t EoE thats darn funny.
