Is there a certain time to search for the best planets - or is it the luck of the draw?

Thank you
L LadyHope
Its pretty much a luck of the draw.. It varies on the numbers of the planets. I was like noticing that after a while because not many people have been exploring.
O OttOmaNS
from 6-6.30 in america in the afternoon there are tons of 1000 land berrans.
S Sol
lol i guess not xD
E EvilAbadayos
well if it was labled a `secret` why did you just say it?

Not much of a secret keeper now are we?
S Sol
And blazed i can do more than just edit posts i can do some HTML aswell to edit the posts xD
S Sol
Blazed it is my job to help players yes however the fact that rare time yields better planets is considered a "secret" and although it is fairly common knowledge as a guide im not supposed to say lol.

also im preety dang sure i know a lot more about how the game works than most but again im shh :#
O OttOmaNS
dani took that from eternal and eternal took it from poor Campman84.

Aba im perfectly aware it does. im also aware im not supposed to tell you that :o

HUH? Isn`t your job to help players not keep information from them? Or is that just your way of saying that guides get special information for being a guide and they have to keep it to themselves. pfft.. Well at least we know you do more than just edit post....lol
B Bladactania
Aba - I think what he meant was some planet ID ranges tend to have more larger planets that others... In my own personal experience, the planets tend to be better at the beginning of the ID range.
C {Ching}
OK I`ll take ur word for it I`ve never been a fan of exploring :)
E EvilAbadayos
tell me what Sol? Something anyone with half a brain and a scrap of paper can work out for themselves?

Also Ching, numbers have no bearing other than being assigned in numerical order 0001, 0002....etc

The same number planet is NOT going to be the same planet. a 0001 could be a 451 barren OR a 2 land gas OR a 5k Large, it is totally random due to the variables encountered. Otherwise you would be able to explre when it it at 2041 knowing 2045 is a 12k large. Doesn`t work that way sorry (I know this example excludes other players exploring and assuming you get planet ID 2045).

If you want any real info on exploring PM me on GC:RT or if you know me catch me on MSN, I have hard evidance that I am willing to share, unlike some people that seem to be willing to mislead
D DaniCalifornia

*sighs*

Aba im perfectly aware it does. im also aware im not supposed to tell you that :o
C {Ching}
I agree with Aba, though the good planets can be found at other times too. One thing is for sure if u want small planets with lots of ore u should dig during the common times lol. The colony number may have some bearing too I think
E EvilAbadayos
no sol...time of day DOES.

I have found it to be a direct corrilation, but you obviously don`t seem to know squat about exploring.
S Sol
lol

Time of day "may" have something to do with it xD
E EvilAbadayos
well it could be that I have explored a truly STUPlD amount of planets (97,000 + ) I think most of the good planets have come from dig time explores
B Bladactania
Why keep it a secret? The more people know, the more good planets for us to take :)
