No it`s not random on defense - think about it. Flanking ships can randomly wipe themsleves on the nirv or whatever, the nirv attacks whichever ship attacks it and doesn`t wipes itself first. Only the leftover stacks get the random attack

It`s completely random on attack and defense... What do you think flanking is? lol All up to the probability set within the game design :)

yea, but from the battle statistics logs it looks like the first ship that hits the nirvana that doesn`t kill itself in the process is directly attacked.

I had a thread about this before - I thought its the top remaining stack too, for the `extra` attack.

DM says its random though.

Of course seeing the nirv hit the top stack doesn`t prove its not random, so what we need to see is the `extra` attack hitting some other ship.......

It seems odd to me, but if the first ship wipes out in the initial attack before the nirv can hit back, then does the nirv only attack the next ship that hits it that doesn`t die?
