1week till T emp H mow edit`s

well im going on vacation tomorrow to turkey for a week , during that time ive decided to make this thread , im sure some people have already noticed L emerald and G corrundam build rates have dropped to 1 , and that we now have the ability to edit ships

so as planned a long time ago the T emp and the H Mow will receive edits.

personally ide like to see the H MoW remain a small starbase but with lots of firepower and no defence ( weird for a starbase but well i feel that kind of ship would suit collective best , but hell thats me and im just plain weird ) this excludes capital ship talk and such , the ship must remain small and be built in number

now T emp isnt going to have a rebuild , just an improvement , and not big ones.

over the next week feel free to Politely discuss both ships and all your idea`s on the matter

i dont want to come back and see flaming edits and insults thrown all over the place , i also dont want to see emo comments like ` whats the point ` and such

if i come back and like what i see in here ( in terms of no flaming and such )

i will then work on D maru ships / race with everyone to make the race balanced and playable for UW users.

bah, i bet i could start a UW at below 500k pr on slow, sleep for 8 hours, and still have no hits. xD

*Notes that Ragnarok would need to blow up the server to play D.Maru. On slow, not happening. =P

But uhm. D.Maru playable? Maraud, I love you.

Can`t wait to see how the new race turns out. I might even abandon my old a miner empire on slow server and try it out there. Don`t really care much for miner but don`t want to waste a good empire until something like this comes along. =P

If you want the emp to be more offensive, how about increasing range to 8?

For the T. Emp- how about making it more in line with the Aragonite. Raise the kinetic modifier from -60% to -30% and giving it no retal. The Arag is 2500W/6000H, and the Emp is 2000W/8000H, so there is still plenty of difference between the two. I guess that`s my modest proposal.

My other proposal would be to implement the mod change above but make the Emp a more offensive ship, something like 6000W/4000H.

Or...here`s an idea. Reduce the shielding by about 20-25% and then make it a ship that can attack.

That should be interesting to see. =P

Any increase in range must be followed by a decrease in hull, shields, or firepower. If the new ship MUST be small then it should at least have a build rate of 16-24k pr or more.

If you absolutely insist on deleting the ship without replacing it, maybe make some improvements on R schooner and R Snow? Otherwise, you are effectively giving collective a nerf.

i vote for the mow being deleted :)

take the scanner off the emp and -30% to absorption should cover it :P

sounds like good idea for t emp it need a bit of a improvment as for the mow i think range would be a good thing for it

Did you say " ...going on vacation tomorrow to turkey for a week.." ? If you are going that far , go to Athens , Greece of France . Turkey too close to Scud-land and RPGs ( not Roll Playing Games ) and if China had an earth-quake , Turkey will be next !
At any rate....Have a nice time and thanks for the heads-up . ( SPF 40 and drink only bottled beer LOL !
