taking into account the fact that there are too few people playing gc id say thats a pretty good accomplisment

Collectives are easy empires to be fast starters...

1) You make money doing the thing which takes the least investment of turns, plundering, and your ship research is pretty light (only virals have less initial research)

2) You have low food needs and even lower needs for goods

3) Collectives have really good ships

Looking at the empire an avg planet size of 400 is pretty sad even for a race that cant explore..

Over 400 land average for a nonexplore race in 5 days isn`t bad at all imo. Remember they`re all single planet captures too, unless he found an inactive collective
