you log off (besides seeing your PR level at 0)

Click artifacts, and if you get the following message you are most sincerely dead:

ARTIFACTS

Your empire has died, please restart.
(Options > Restart Empire)

=)

Sorry if this seems beyond obvious to some people, but for those of you who think a PCC amounts to an "extra life", you are sincerely wrong. =P

i`ve actually seen people use them to get back from a 0 planet empire. sometimes the game will stop you from using them, other times it will not realise you are dead for a while, so the whole pcc not working thing isn`t entirely true. sure it`s not SUPPOSED to work, but sometimes it does.

PCCs are like Rejuvinators or health packs, not resurection pills. You hafta use them BEFORE you die.

Actually, since we`re talking about collective, I think we use planets like batteries. As long as there`s a planet we`re fine, but if all planets were plundered then it would be like a computer unplugging itself from the wall with no one around to plug it back in and none of the data was saved before that happened.

Not exactly a something any collective or sentient PC would want to try unless they wana die. ^_^

If I remember correctly, from back when Stephen used to give out PCCs now and then, even if you manage to use the PCC on yourself after you`ve died, it didn`t work anyway...

not exactly, you can use it before logging off, like i mean when ur playing you die, use the pcc the minut you die or you will get this sign

oh I should be dead. I plundered all planets on my collective. I just wanted to see what the death experiance was like, and after i plundered all planets and clicked artifacts that is what I got. ^_^

and nobody can flame it as vets have this problem on a weekly basis when re-activating accounts so its actually a thread for ALL players and not really flamable

log of log back in refreshes everything regarding this , so if you get a dead message and you dont think you should be dead , relog and it will refresh
