Separate chats...

I know, I know. It`s been offered up on many occasions, by several different people. But seriously, why would I EVER need to hear about lords and vassals and how many trillions of units of food someone makes?

The same goes for UC, why would they need to hear me talk about how much I pwn in a game that matters? I mean come on. On any given day, the chat is pillaged by the UC savages- and it causes most of the people on GC to just turn their chats off.

If we were given our own chats, not only would it allow for the UC guides and admins to stop silencing me because I`m not role playing good enough, it would also allow for people to chat with the people they want to chat with!

And honestly I think it would benefit the `new player` community on GC. And that`s me being serious. Just think if GC had it`s own chat, there`d be no room for confusion with the lord and vassal blasphemy rolling down the chat every time the page refreshes... the new players could ask their questions and the vets (which I`m sure make up 2/3 the remaining population of GC anyways) would be more than happy to take up their questions. Come on now! GC WANTS FREEDOM!

There was seperate chats before, and when gc was more popular I thought that was the best way.. but now, as Sol said, hardly anybody seems to go on chat on gc anymore.

i have been around when GC has dominated chat, but for the majority of the time UC has the majority of players in chat.

They have a joined chat because tehy used to be hosted on the same server.

and if GC had its own chat it would just be like empty for 99% of the day. also if you use the chat client you can filter out UC text so you can only see GC players but trust me, its empty lol

Well Mouichido85. it used to be the other way around. ^;^ till Stephen turned ignorant of gc and the game went. ```````````^:;~-,._______ _ _ _ _
in 2005 when i came back the chat was still in control by gc players. as people moved on w/ life. you know.

I have asked about this in the past.. GC is not big enough, so it shares with UC. Until GC gets more players, we will be sharing it still. THen again, Stephen doesn`t pay attention to GC, so we may always share it with UC.. lol
