How many times have we seen that happen in a Viral UW attempt? The UW holder attacked by a supposed Ally and ending up with millions of PR worth of high powered ships...

lol i say give we witch finder genral power ill kick the cheats and its not hard to see who they are even with out battle logs. and what ever happened to the good old days of hahaha im leaving/ restarting see my 400 planets get plundered or that just me :P

Founders yes i play GC. but i camp down in NP doing research ocasionally popping out to slap people around.

if u want allied feds go to a game with a larger player base ie UC.

If fed banks or some such other feature were implemented to make some sort of benefit stem from having alliances then there would be motive to ally for some people.

i know exactly how dm feels as ive seen it quite alot at times, to say feds have no allies is wrong just look at fed websites for a short time and you will see people list allied feds.

A very long time ago i was chasing a player who based, they were members of well know allied feds and as the player reached 40m of sbs they mysteriously popped out of dp with hours left and managed to capture roughly 30m hercs which had been built fairly quick.i hit them and it basically calculated that they lost almost no chirons from the hit. As they werent technically allies despite what fed webpage etc said it was just seen as an unlucky hit as there was nothing to prove it wasnt.

Obviously also had times where allied feds hit my players for borders knowing they were allied or even by mistake and my fed playing by the rules and not countering or hitting.

Unfortunately as said this wont be implemented and wouldnt be used by people that wanted to do this anyway

if you set up that alied feds can`t attack each other all that will do is cause the fed`s to NOT put any type of ally in their fed so they can still freely attack or people will leave feds to continue to "cheat" anyway

but.. i alo would like allied feds because feds normally are not large enough to hold large groups of friends. i just merely said it wont happen and pointed you in the direction of the facility you wanted. admited i was a little blunt and i appologise.

The problem is - if people in different feds are mates and want to planet exchange/ provide free borders then they wouldn`t ally their feds, they`d just continue to exchange.

There`s no real way to stop it that I can think of - just people`s integrity

The idea is there ARE allied feds and people that constantly brake the alliance and get borders off allies or even clusters, and in my opinion that`s not really fair way to play.
Sol, you are a good mod, I agree that, but you don`t have a clue about GC. And maybe, just maybe GC will never get more people playing it because of the "go to play UC" attitude. I have never played UC and I didn`t even know that idea was implemented there. But something that works in UC can work in GC as well, not all ideas in UC are rubbish.
