Ok some real rules for Chat modding. There are some around but invariably they are completely outdated and not actually enforced in the same way as they are now.
- Caps: Posting all in capital letters is yelling and considered rude. Highlighting of one word in capitals is ok once or twice. dont let em go to far with it.
- Filter Trip: Persistantly tripping the chat filter is a chat violation. We do leave not smart alone most of the time unless it goes to far.
- Filter Bypass deliberatly mispeling a word to by pass the filter is a chat violation
- Links in chat Gamestotal links and links to site such as Pandy`s or moonshines are allowed.
- Advertising other games: Talking about another game is allowed. The moment it becomes and advert or a flat out comparison it becomes a chat violation
- Religion/politics: Both topics never stay calm. Stop them before they grow
- Drugs: any conversation that describes the usage or effects etc of a illicit substance.. Not suitable (Think of the kiddies!)
- Posting Events: Posting of Empire events in the chat quickly becomes spammy and is considered a chat Violation.
- Chuck Norris Jokes..etc: Jokes like Chuck norris jokes and yo momma quickly become spammy and get out of hand. Stop them before they start.
- Impersonating Staff: suspendable offense.. Report and leave for admin. IF continues silence and leave for admin
- Battle Arranging : ok Actual rules for UC only!:
You may not ask specifically for dp
You may not ask for specific attack type
You may not ask to be hit on specific planet
You may not offer free planets
You may not off planets via invasion for ny payment
In the chat you MAY state your pr and ask to be hit.
You MAY put a bounty on yourself on your main system only.
