Well with wars everywhere generally between feds of players with planet counts of 60 or less its quite difficult to crush them since exploring is a synch.
So wars, though great for obtaining planets easier kind of ends there, and i think it would be great if it was mandatory to have conditions of victory so you or your opposing federation can proudly say, "we won this war" on their website.
Just thinking this could only really work if two feds declare war against each other.
So state which conditions of war apply: (and also state this again + enemy fed when holding up victory banner on website).
e.g.
-First Federation to take a 100 battle lead off the other (win 100 battles against the enemy more than the enemy gets from you).
-First Federation to get 100 planet lead from battling against the other. (win 100 planets off the enemy more than they take from you).
-Surrender (federation pulls out of the war)
-Total Enslavery: all terran/ Aminers out of newb protection enslaved by enemy fed, and none the otherway round.
-No wins for a week/forknight: The federation which hasn`t won a battle against the enemy fed for a week/forknight loses.
I would like to see coding where, when 2 empires have declared war on each other then the conditions of victory are picked at random and PMed to each member of the alliances.
Or the conditions of victory are calculated, based on general race/ power rating/ planet count of the involved federations. E.G. its no good having a "Total Enslavery" treaty if the involved federations have little or none Terran/Aminer races.
At the moment, it would take alot of effort for members federation to try and record all those battles.
So it would be great if GC temporarily makes a database once a battle condition is set and any battles between these 2 federations are recorded as (power ratings/planet count exchange/enslavery) in the file until the condition is met or surrender occurs! Then pm`s are sent to parties involved stating the verdict.
