yeah I thought about that too TPE. But I was afraid that some people who use computer labs to play might not get to vote if someone else in the lab plays the game too. Any computers that go through the same router are going to show up as having the same IP.

Still, it may be the simplest answer... maybe I`ll try a new form on my website that checks IP addresses...

I didn`t figure I could report the spam since it came to my person email account from a personal web page (outside of gamestotal). Besides it`s not really possible to tell who it really was (although I have my suspicions).

So I`ll just have people PM me on one of the servers in-game with their votes when the time comes. If it comes close between a couple of people, then I`ll probably have you double check some accounts to make sure people aren`t voting for themselves, but if it`s a blowout, then it probably won`t matter if someone voted for themselves a couple of times.

Someone already thought it would be funny to spam my inbox with bogus entries on the Volunteers form and I had to get rid of it. So I`m going to check with Maraudian to see if I can make a fake account on the Normal server to use as a collection box for the votes, and everyone can just PM the votes to me. Otherwise, I know I`m just going to end up having to wade my way through the votes to pick out the real ones.

I`m hoping that since the votes are private (only I see them), that people will actually vote for someone they feel deserves it, and not feel pressured by their fed leader or a friend.

And I wouldn`t worry too much about anyone voting for me, I`m not active enough for most people to pay attention to my little empires.

And I wouldn`t worry about me telling who voted for who, cuz honestly, I really don`t care who wins, I just thought this might make things more fun! lol
