Hey everyone, I`m just letting you know that in effort to attract new players I will be putting up an advertisement on the Facebook website
For those who don`t know, its a MySpace style site aiming at bring groups of people together based on their networks (such as your city, or school) and then you get to personalize your own page and all that

this ad will be displaying there hopefully quite a bit over the next several days, but it is not cheap to do

I cannot do it by myself for more than a few days, any contributions, even just a few dollars will help me keep the ad going for as long as possible so many people can see it

If you are interested in donating money for me to keep the ad up longer please PM Moops on RT or Ultra servers, even just $2 can help

If you want more info about cost and whatnot ill be more than happy to fill you in, I`m not trying to make a profit off this, if I get more money than I`m spending I will put more money into the ad so it will display more often

anyhow, I`ll keep the ad up as long as I personally can, your support via paypal would be very appreciated by myself and any GC player interested in bringing in new players

Honestly advertising on facebook, well..Alot of people don`t even look at the adds after a few minutes of using the site, and I`d bet a fair few of the clicks are people hitting it by accident, or not really looking at it.

Also, if people would let me know that they are actually seeing the ad I would appreciate it, I haven`t seen it yet, I`m not sure why

So please post here or pm me if you see it, its pretty obvious lol, its got the planet pic from the login screen on it

facebook swears they are showing it though xD so it should be out there somewhere

Hm, facebook started as a college thing but is now available to all people, so it gets a fair range of people in my opinion, if this doesnt work out then ill consider a different site

also, 29k impressions of the ad, and 28 clicks so far

Why would we aim at the younger generation? We aren`t looking for more KoBs and more 420rens...

Ok, so the ad is going again, after about 15k displays we`ve got 16 clicks, not really good so far, but it should get better, in the next few hours, ill keep you all updated

also, only one dollar will display the ad an extra 2000 times, so anything helps guys ^_^

awesome Moops. If the ad is still up and running once I have some more cash in my PayPal account from eBay sales, I`ll donate a few dollars.

Ok the ad is confirmed up and running, and people are clicking on it, but i`ve paused it due to all the server repairs
