Brigs are the best anti spam ship out there hands down. MOW/Brig and Brig/MOW spams can be pretty handy sometimes against the average player that thinks they can win against collective using Nirvana. =P

i usual used Ruby or Torms against COllectives .. did the trick for me o-o;;

Hehe, good question. =P

It`s anti (capitol spam) because up to this point collective didn`t have any defense vs the herc/nirv spam or pyth/angel spam or other spams. Even a well balanced stack would often lose to a simple spam. And vs K class there was almost no defense at all. Now thanks to the brig and added missile to barks and galleon, people wll start thinking twice about using nirvana or K class or Corrundum against collective.

Well, I think a lot of collectives don`t think about building MOW and then one of every other ship they have in their ship build page. =P

Of course neither ship will help you if you attack with pure nirv spam on agressive. Anti intuitive and risky, but prolly the best way to deal with such ships. Kinda like hitting a collective with queens or runners on top.

Against a MoW spam, I cannot think of a time in which I have not Captured two or three Cols.

MOW isn`t perfect as it is still vulnerable to nirv and pyth spams and you can still "lose" (even if it`s just 1 colony).

If you are running more PR of Pyth against MoWs, they get eaten alive. I believe I did a fair enough job of teaching that to Sharkrider on Slow. =P

yes brig is the collective anti capital ship , being small and fragile greatly affects its capture though , or is it just me who noticed this :-/

The only ship that chews through MoWs is the brigantine. ^^;
