Ultimate Weapon Promotions

yes theres been a few ultimate weapons recently so its not the best timing for this , but the fact there has been a few recently should have opened alot of eyes to a fun area of the game that nobody really shows much interest in , my belief is its too hard for the petty gains you get , so for a long time i came up with idea`s possible for an Admin to do.

below is a list of current and extra features that can all be implimented , are balanced , and greatly increase the apeal of launching an Ultimate Weapon :-
1. Name in hall of fame
2. Restart Any Race
3. 90% damage to all none fed members

4. Carry one ship research over from the race you activate it to the race you become ( Excluding Guardian ) i also feel this idea is great for stacking ( more UW`s = another research + past ones so eventually you could have your own lucas empire )

if this idea is to be added although ive already spent a extreemly long time investigating and the scariest thing imaginable is A miners with D angels / pyth , players must know that if any form of impossabilities exploits or loopholes are found the ships can be removed , however i have tested this and doubt it can go wrong , lucas himself can easily be beaten by stacks or none stacks at any power by any race etc

5. a super/perfect planet reward for your new empire , the choice is yours , the planet must be single not cluster ( for example 10k Barren / fertile / Eden ) land size of the single planet can be discussed and even alter per gamespeed or w/e before being added.

6. artifact package , the contents of the package again is discussable for each gamespeed but an example would be ( 25 regalo / 10 BTC / 6 PCC )

Notes:
Gaurdians are excluded from 4. so G class from A miner also wont carry over.
virals only research is the scout
none exploration race cant explore with scout

So virals can`t carry a single ship? /waits for the viral scum rant

scout is researched , other than that , no :)

Yeah I know H class are researchable - Gronoria said "But if you take collective ships with capture ability as lets say terran are you able to capture ships? That would be scary lol. " and you responded with "V class arnt researchable ships :-) ". So I`m just wondering if the H class would still be allowed to be carried over, since they capture ships....

yes H and V class actually capture the ships not the race , so a collective uw and wanting a H class ship will mean the race in question will have capture / anti capture ability

and yar viral dont actually research them , they dont have a research ID , even asmodai / lucas cant ` build ` them , same for all race starting ship`s

and yes H class is fine to carry over

This whole idea is bad..

Make viral ships RE change-able from time to time...

the chums on ultra are MK.

Maru uw`s are easy for us to blow on slow.
Anfit will probably have all ships on normal within a year :P.
Imo the ship thing should not be stackable(well actually i think just one is a bit over the top) how bout a paid account instead.

im not giving people my money ^^

and you need to remember , how hostile the entire game will be to a UW for the bonus`s the empire will get , you think a gamespeed will sit back and let a maru / collective UW go off :-/ ? if they do then they deserve it , if they fail then the guy who won now has to start all over with a in my opinion deserved interesting reward ^^

trust me i took a while in thinking every possible worst case scenario out , and as a negative guy i am as stated the scariest is A miner with maru ships , and you fight those maru ships all day anyhow , its just the combo of economy and cheap upkeep , and frankly it doesnt unbalance them too greatly , unless all they do is spam them , then there plain and simply predictable and weak yet rich

In general these ideas aren`t bad, it would make it more interesting to do an UW for sure.

But if you take collective ships with capture ability as lets say terran are you able to capture ships? That would be scary lol.

Luckily doing an UW with marauder is hard or else I`d be indeed scared of terrans/miners spamming pyth/angel.

hmm M|K slow seems to be the only fed that can set off multiple uw's, but an empire that set off one would take along time to be able to set it off again, so excluding the lucas ideia unless you wanna spend 10 years at it

starbases shouldn't be able to carry over

Actually, as the person who would probably be implementing this, and the fact that it makes a lot more sense to respond to each post in the post so that the question and the response are together... it makes a lot more sense for mara to do as he did rather than post separately.

Hey Maraudian - can you maybe do us a favor and stay out of our posts? This is a public forum and we have the right to state our opinions. I know I don`t really appreciate you blasting me in my post where I was just stating an opinion of something I thought would be fun. I`m sure I`m not the only one who feels this way. So if you want to post your opinion, at least have the decency to do it in a normal post like a normal player, rather than insisting on abusing your ability to use orange writing and sticking your comments right into our posts.

unless you want me to post like 10 posts in a row then name who im directing them at and the post im directing myself at witch takes alot of effort and basicly makes me look like a moron talking to myself and confusing everyone , anything i edit in a post is obvious , i bold it so you know its me , unless im closing the post due to flaming and some such , i feel it more affective and mature to do so , that way people reading the whole post dont get confused
