I am a newbie..and there is this mission in which i have to get my power rating to 10000. but if i do get it that high, i will be attacked by people. i have some good ships but not enough to protect myself from profis. what can i do?

Do as Macbeth said on the other thread: build enough ships to reach 10000 power, then quickly disband them to drop into the newbie protection.
