I`ll be leaving for vacation tommorrow and wont be back for over a week. Is there any way I can put my empire on protect?

yes it`s called vacation mode
go to option then vacation mode then go to the bottom put in the amount of days you`ll be away and also note that you can`t enter vm unless you dont fight (attack anyone) 24 hours before activating Vacation mode
