Is the Asmodai NPC in RT fair?

Its fair.
been here a long time now and i realise that the UW has more than one effect during its entirity. firstly people use their money in an effort to not lose it, this is a good thing. secondly people use artifacts on each other to help or hinder, this too is beneficial otherwise when it becomes your turn everyone will have loads of historias and u wont even get a chance to do a thing. what is lost on lots of people that play RT is that this game was orignally a turn based game and so when in RT things dont work quite as well particually when it comes to overall wealth and peoples hoards so it is therefore more beneficial to the lower people to have UW`s failed or not due to the bigger empires spending and using more money than they would usually do. imagine if the UW wasnt there and no one ever set it off then there would be no way any new person could get anywhere near the top unless they had spent a year or so playing. so leave the UW`s alone they never do any harm to low down people and it doesnt do any damage to the top people in the long run. It just levels things out a little. one thing i will say tho is that u should lose 50% of your artifacts on RT only if the UW goes off this would make it so much more interesting!

As for the only a select few can partake nto true any oen can attcke ti not every one is goign to do anygood like any other UW. the point of the npc UW is to get alot of thoughs old dusty empier in vm a reasoen to get out of it and start playing the game more. It is all about activty on the server more then it is in the server reset. Rt is starting to get more active *knoucks on wood* then it used to be with less big guys in vm cause they are geting bored of being uber powerful with nothing to do.

THe NPC uw been used I think 3 tiems ow getting hard with each new one I might add. It has been failng too and it will keep failing as long as enough people like thier hord of minrals and cash....

sotty life is unfair get over it. This is the perfect chance for a federation to have twenty active members tryign ahrd to rebuild who will ahev a shot at taking a top tne fed spot and will be abel to hol dit because of effort. Youw nat excitement make newbies feel unstoppable by making history. the uW could have fialed if the server understood unity. It doesn`t so no stopping it. Think of the future on how to cement your legacy and giev the game great new players.

sooty stop being a muckraker and look up. You ahve the power to play this game harder and to make an impact for good if youw nat to put your effort into teachign new players things and recruiting them. Whinning about a UW doesn`t do anything about it.

SFGC should evolve... rather looking forward for a massive reset... it should emulate "2nd life"... why Stephen can`t see that? sigh...

im not worried about the NPC blowing us up i think if all of put up a effort the npc will fall again
and 1 if everyone is getting bored of the game that is no reseaon to reset that will just piss people off why not just give people new projects to research ships or even better a new race then players would reset more often because now we have new race a new challenge

UW used to be hard to pull off and to get on the winners list used to mean something. now it`s meaningless

ide rather say its due to the lack of apeal of an UW , whats the point in restarting a perfect empire just to become a race you probably already have access too , ok so everyone else takes a strong hit , but not worth 48 hours of hell and a force restart

Too many artifacts and not enough UWs, that`s it.

there are very few player UW's in RT and the ones that try get owned badly just cause everybody has plenty of resources, arties etc
this game is getting very old and it creates problems that would only be solved with a full reset to bring the fun back to the game, at least in RT
The bot UW pretty much tries to balance things out, but 90% of everything isn't enough

lets just get the basics out the way , turn based servers and real time are completely different

i could stick this UW at 20b and still have confidence realtime could take it out with effort

why is it there if its ` unfair ` ? because everyone has pretty much max everything and nothing to do and no intention of restarting / activating uw for its crabpy unworthy rewards , so why an NPC ? for fun. nothings forcing you to take any notice of him , Regardless of what happens to this npc RT will play more , be it to restore there credits , dominate the ranks after its activation and take out the people who were at the top , or generally enjoying the gc community joined together taking out a npc UW that has lots of stacks to keep it interesting while giving out rewards to those who it deems worthy

in nearly any good online game there will be something or other that breaks the bounderies in order to create something challenge / interesting for those who have been there and done all that...

or you could just go uc emo on us and whine about anything interesting a little complicated or challenging till its made super easy and boring * rarehunter yawn

sooty: the NPC is nothing new. the very first NPC was created not long after the 1.06 update and was called just that NPC and was of the KalZul race. from there there was a second NPC called KalZul which was from the KalZul race that tried to blow the server ( and had succeded at least once) and from those two lots of other NPC`s have come and went. NPC`s UW`s are nothing new, Asmodai is just the latest version of the NPC

true enough, I`m staying up late playing on RT for a change just to feel like i did something when this UW is torn to pieces
