DP problems

Ok i have a major problem and i cant seem to figure it out, and i dont think its a simple mathmatical problem with percentages but perhaps it is. For the past two days when i log off and get attacked i have lost the first battle and a planet on both nights. Within minutes of being attacked, five at the most, i get attacked again and lose more planets, except for this past night when i won a defensive battle. Can a Guide or Admin look into this bug or explain how this can happen to me. I don`t believe it is a percentage problem because last night i was attacked by the same empire with the same fleet, one herc, and lost the first but defended the second with my fleet in shambles. Please lend advice or tell em something that i can do to prevent this from happening every time i log off. Thanks for your support.

Winning Criteria

Enslave attack:-
Defender must lose 60% or more power rating*

All other types of attack:-
Defender must lose 10% or more power rating*
3 Colonies captured if Defender losses 80% power rating*
2 Colonies captured if Defender losses 50% power rating*
1 Colony captured if Defender losses 10% power rating*

Note: * the total power rating for all ship for the defender only. Does not include planets.

mark that its ship pr lost ...
and also winner is determined by who lost the most ship pr, good reason to use low pr ships more

actually ... it`s 40% damage needed for dp ...

Damage protection is only given if you lose 60% of your Power in battle. If someone attacked you on careful and took one planet you would still be out of DP for another attack. You will only lose a max of 3 colonies before you go in to DP. It is programed that way.
