To produce goods you need to build industry on your planets and have some raw material stocked. For each turn you use, you will produce goods and use raw materials automatically (1 good requires 1 raw).
You sell goods to your population for 5$ each person automatically when you use turns.
If you`re a terran, don`t bother producing goods since your population demands A LOT of goods per turn, you better buy from the market for 4$ each.
