Server Issues

Since the Last Microsoft update the server has been going down & restarting a ton it seems like... i`ve had to log in constantly this week

These crashs of stablity seem to happen for long periods for times lasting up to serveral minutes to an hour or 2... already it seems like the ADMINs have used there power to give everyone 24 hours of DP

i think we should roll back out servers to before this last update which seems to be causing problems

CounterCrazy, maybe staff doesnt know anything at all...you should be carefull when you trash talk....sigh newb these day..

I agree with CounterCrazy there. The information lvl has dropped to zero, the last announcement was concerning Stephens baby....

Hate to say it but im still unsure of whats going on much with GC issues somedays...

i remember when we use to get INFORMED about such stuff... not to be mean but GC staff is getting a little lazy with notications about whats going on

one i would like a Post in Announcements about the last Microsoft update & how we have been having server issues again constantly... it would be niced to be informed about whats going on.

yeah... somehow it`s true bipbippy... but stop to think for awhile, there`s a reason why Stephen created PCC... and there`s a reason why SFGC got digging time... and there`s reason why we need the capsule labs... and... if i`m not mistaken, the formula of PPC already found...

so i`m guessing, IF you`re serious in protecting your assets, SFGC is giving few ways for doing it... we just need to find the right way for each of us.... :)

Sometimes getting your planets hidden behind 6 borders isn`t always the easiest thing to - i.e. you`re protecting a C3 and you`re an a.miner. Eventually you run out of counter attacks. :P

well UberPansy, if you`re referring it to me... i`m sorry for others who lost their precious colonies during instability periods... trust me, i`ve gone thru it personally... i consider myself lucky nowadays coz i make sure i got enough border planets incase of anything...

perhaps a better way to avoid such thing is for Stephen or the GMAs to warn us in a week earlier for any update OR situations that will create instability periods... but then, this is SFGC... i`ve been hit by double attack bug twice previously and what i do now, to put my coloniess that i want to keep behind 6 border planets rather than 3...

for what i`ve experienced in SFGC for the past 3 years (almost), i just make sure i`m well prepared for anything... we do learn frm mistakes don`t we?

but still ... life goes on... :)

Well I`m unwilling to "have a lil give or take" as it can mean losing clusters that have taken year(s) to acquire. I would have appreciated some free dp during that period of instablility... minus 3 more borders boom.

yep, i only log in once or twice a day. I had no idea why my DP was extended. Of course - I didn`t mind the extension - I only wish I had managed to be online when everyone came out of DP. Those are my favorite times to be online - when there`s a mass DP exodus!

I know and i understand that... I was online when it happened. When the backup server was up and running and the banner had been put up, it only showed for a brief duration of time... There was a lot of players who didn`t know what had happened and why their dp was suddenly extended...

as the banner did say , GC is currently on the ` backup ` server

you know... do like i always do when the servers are acting up... look at the bright side... this the time not so many player online... those exotic artifacts mine... mine... all mine... BWUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

hey peeps... give and take in life... i`ve been playing this game for almost 3 years... once awhile the servers are acting up during updates... it seems older players just accept it as it as, coz we`ve gone thru it almost once a year...

so alll there who are new or has been playing for few months, just chilll down and relax, it will be ok in a few days time...
