Just to add, you need to destroy 60% minimun of the enemy`s fleet in an enslave attack or you will lose, and you can only enslave someone if him and yourself are Terran or Miner.
Just beware that if the player you want to slave already got a lord, he will probably get reinforcements when you enslave attack him.

There is no easy way to enslave people, because there is no such thing as the perfect ship. What you must do is eliminate the majority of his fleet to be succesful in your attempt. I suggest garudas, thors, queens, hercs, nirvs, and tyrs.
If you`re a miner, it gets more difficult. Flysch spams don`t deal enough damage, and a more balanced stack will not damage a pure spam. Queens, epidotes, chlorites, and flyschs are good ships to try out.
One more thing: if it was easy to enslave people, everyone would do it.
