WELLL 1st. Make sure your old @$$ comps modem isnt onboard. 2nd if it isnt you have one oldass comp from the 90`s or early 2ks my man. 3rd barely anyone uses modem anymore get w/ da game dog. 4th get an Ethernet card and install it and switch to cable or something. 5th. You`ll need a special modem card thats spaecificaly for modems or a pci slot card. ( i havnt figured out what that slot was yet :( )
6th watch for your own static electricity of your a n00b @ assembling comps. You generate enough static electricity to power a small town. Meaning your computer can be toast. Rub the casing or medal something to absorb it.

hmm modem type go to a computer store and go and buy a modem or change ur internet provider

get DSL or cable internet. Better yet, get a good laptop and take advantage of free wireless internet wherever you go.
