full stacking methods

a full ten stack is usualy the best way to defend yourself, the old theory goes range up front like

but the majority of ranged ships are fragile so would it be more benificial to have in a full ten stack ships with better hull to pr mods up front with range ships supporting? if hit on carefull it would do much damage up front where the most of the pr is and if hit on normal better hull to pr would surely do better, also if hit on agressive it comes down to sheild mods

if hit on agg would the long range no retal ships lower in the stacks come into play? just a reverse theory ive been working on for stacking.

very open to discusion

I say it depends on whether or not your opponent uses their full 10 stacks, and what they have in those 10 stacks -if they did use them all -compared to what you have. If your high range ships take out the lower PR stacks of your enemy on defense, then yes that would be very effective. On defense how about putting high hull ships with decent modifiers up front, and high attack to PR ships in lower stacks?

it seems whaen I experimented with hitting on carefull with ranged ships up front it doesnt work out that well, ranged ships appear to be more fragile and dont usualy have the defencive modifiers capitol ships have. hitting on carefull only works for meh in a half spam with no retal capitol, or capitol up front lol.

for what you have here, this is what I would use for careful attacking mode. long range, kills first and faster on careful. i would recommend the high hull ships at bottom for this, like for AMiners, Lictors to teh 7th - 9th stack, when attacking.

on defense, depends on the power range for which you are defending. Best defense = a ton of ships. I prefer C. Aries and F. Axe for top stacks when defending. They swarm the attackers!!!!!!!

I like randomness in my stacks, it wins me battles. Not that dumb random will work, you gotta use smart random. Using light fighter drones pretty much anywhere is dumb random in my opinion. Just saying, it works for me :)

I agree wtih yeah:
Prefer higher hull ships on top and range on the bottom for defence or attacking normal.

I Don`t attack on careful, lol
