correct me if im wrong but herc has 12k kinetic damage not 30k, so
12k x 95% modifier= 23,400 -hull for the fodder being 800.
84 lrg fodder have a combined total of 67,200 hull so depending on how many herc flanked the fodder it sounds very reasonable,

YOU GOT IT WRONG MATE

-95% doesnt mean that 800 base hull becomes 40... it means that your kinetic damage does 95% MORE... jsut like a positive shield of 95% means that missiles do 95% LESS... thus the calculations are correct...

1. 3 hercs = 30,000 base kinectic and 15,000 base missile damage
2. 30,000 kinectic after -95% sheild modification = 30,000 multiplied by 1.95 = 58,500
3. 15,000 missile after +95% shield modification = 15,000 multiplied by 0.05 = 750
4. total damage by 3 hercs on fodders = 59,250
5. -5% reduction from attacker`s disadvantage = 59,250 multiplied by 0.95 = 56,287.5

Fodder`s HP = 800
Therefore number of fodder killed per round = 56,287.5 divided by 800 = 70.3

if anything, he gave you an advantage in number of fodders killed mate...

*sigh* ... your neglecting on how the battle formula works, its alot more complex than just the 30000/400 part ... which is seriously off ... if you were to compare to other attacks on other ships.

Anyway ... im not a math genious, but 3 hercs killing fodder would sound about right.

Because Strafez negate most of your attack with the "Ships attacked by this Unit cannot return fire". Atleast thats the way i understand it. If i am wrong someone will point it out i am sure -=]
