GC`s Bounty is withdrawn

No one entered the GC client not one soul, so I guess there won`t be any need for Stephen to give out ecoupons for this one.

    First Prize
  • 100 each of a choice of 2 kinds of orbs (example yellow and pink, each member may choose their own colours)
  • 1 X 2,000 land balanced planet OR U spazial 2 land (each fed member* may choose)
  • 1 month paid per fed member*


    Second Prize

  • 100 each of a choice of 2 kinds of orbs (example yellow and pink, each member may choose the colour for them)
  • 1 X 1,500 land balanced planet OR U spazial 2 land (each fed member* may choose)


    Third Prize
  • 75 each of a choice of 2 kinds of orbs (example yellow and pink, each member may choose the colour for them)
  • 1 X 1,000 land balanced planet OR U spazial 2 land (each fed member* may choose)

Quest / Mission

As you may be aware the GC client is downloadable from Options > Client (use mirror 2)

What you may not be aware of is that the client`s graphics are able to be personalised by each player through simply saving pics of your own making, or used from free graphics sites, and renaming the files to the same names as those already in the client.

What we would like from players is for them to take a month to come up with a personalised client, based on your own federations.

We would like to emphasis team work in this and would like players to submit as a federation a client altered that represents your federation`s theme.

Protoss, i`ve given 4 weeks for this bounty, if that isnt` enough time i`m very sorry but while we`d still be willing to look at them, they would not count in the competition.

btw Pandy, a simple question, can people still send clients AFTER the due date? I`m thinking about doing some quality stuff, and simply put, it isn`t a good time (because of all the projects and assignments going on). The prizes don`t really matter to me, so I was just hoping to submit a client after I finish all that school stuff.

yes its already been done just not with the fed theme twist its sad we cat find a different bounty i tried to enter the last one and was ignored i guess cause im not in their little circle lol

weren`t this competition done some time ago? What was the result? artifacts.tk?

(from Pandy) yes Unpro and i was admin on artifacts.tk at the time, it was then only for GC players this one is UC and GC each has their own version of it of course, if there are any exceptional ones, like using their own graphics etc, then stephen has stated he may be willing to arrange a place for them to be downloaded by players

Terms & Condition

You have a month to complete this so take your time, the end date for submission would be at 22 October at 8pm server time.

We`d like you to acknowledge your fed members for the work involved, so please attach a member list and post in it a small summary of which parts they were involved in, save this as a text document only please (.txt), attach that and the the following screenshots and email to [email protected].


  • screen shot from Options Page
  • screen shot from Manage Planets Page
  • screen shot from page of choice


Checklist

  • In the header of the email put in capitals GC BOUNTY CLIENT.
  • attach the text document
  • attach the three screenshots listed above
  • ensure the email its sent to is [email protected]


*fed member at time of the submissions should be listed in a text document attached with other entry details, if this isn`t supplied it will be assumed that only the ones still in the federation on the date prizes are given are awarded

**anything that is considered to be inappropriate based on current game guidelines will be deemed inadmissable, and rejected

*** Screenshots will be used to judge finalists who will then be required to submit full client for final testing and decisions, so its emphasised that its in your best interests to have the full client customised at the end date as listed above, as no extra time will be given to complete the client after the date listed above
