Where can I read about how to gain independence once enslaved?
What does it cost and how etc.

declaring independance costs nothing , however climbing to 10x the pr of your master can cost anything depending on his pr.
if your stuck for more information on slave empire information , go to your slave empire page and there are 4 hyperlinks in the help box on that page ( bottom right )

in order to free urself u need 10 X more pr then ur master. example, if ur master has 100 k pr u need to be at 1 mill pr to free urself. once u have 10 x pr u go to : command ---> slave empires
