Old forum...

The old forum was a ton better. This one is terrible. You would know , if you had seen and enjoyed the old forum.

yeah the slow server thread was amusing, and the n00b quotes thread was great. It was cool to go back and see vets saying the dumbest things lol

bip use anfits add on for firefox, or simply open the thing in a different tab or window.

alick on adv filter for stuff, but hope that the guy doesn`t have a long empire name if you want to look up a post by any particular someone.

i think anfit has something for that, download his addons

this forum sucks because you can`t search for anything very well. and if you click on "Back to Gamestotal.com" it actually takes you back to the main page. Isn`t there a way back to my main account screen?

lol anfit if i could find it on a back up, which it probably is, i`d happily pass it to you if you could get it up and running. But i`m not going looking for it unless i know you can do it, maybe have a chat to belial he knows what coding is required.

i`ve got an evil idea, but i`m not telling...

yes leave it to an aussie spell pefecter (pandy, chaoticneutral, etc) to want the old forum back so they can look at the mistakes that those of us who do not spell so well made

Not just that, there was a lot of history in that forum, and it wasn`t brought over into this one.

It was amusing to read back on some of the old posts, for the sake of reminiscing (spelling) alone.

yeah, the really good threads that people posted on all the time stayed at the front of the forum. On this one, no matter how good or helpful the thread is, dies in a few days.

there was a search box to find stuff and you could *bump* old threads

and the old /me command worked there many many great threads

It was searchable. Now, if you want to find an answer to a question, you can either post a new topic or scroll through a year of posts, but the search doesn`t really work.

it had answers of all FAQs in that for sure... new forum gets cleaned all the time...

I always thought this forum looked better but the old one was less glitchy and as Maraudian said it had history of posts from years ago that people would look up and keep posting on or jut have a good laugh over or use as reference to give new players advice.
