yea, stephen seems to regard GC as one of those "turnkey businesses" now where you spend like 1 hour a week maintaining it and then forgetting it the rest of the time. I still remember when he used to talk on chat =(

because a formula went out the window a while back

now we just edit stuff untill it works to everyones liking , if stephen gave a toss about gc then yer maybe we could have the luxary of sticking to the formula and balancing the game out in not just the combat field , but well , maybe one day in the future

Oh that...

PR formula is weapon + (hull/4) + (scanner * 5) + (range * 5) = PR of ship...

And then you multiply final answer by ship class...

.5 fighter
.6 corvette
.7 frigate
.8 destroyer
.9 cruiser, battleship (I think)
1.0 dreadnought
1.1 juggernauts, bases

But brig is a new ship... I don`t know if it follows the PR formula like the old ones... most do...

Possibly I wasn`t clear. Explain to me why power rating isn`t a pure math formula based on the stats of each ship. In any strat/war game I have ever played this is true.

ShaVegas, just used , if you can ofcourse, Tourmaline . it kills every collective ship, excluding the sloop >:) amythest kills sloops, and most of everything else, just not a pretty as tourm does it ^^

zenith , not the worsed idea in the book tbh , any race can smash strafez up and say yer real smart idea , but then others will be like ` nooooooooo ` and well , thats straf in a nutshell , its a gamble kind of ship that either trashes something or gets trashed or does nout at all
