thats what my friend and i call the not-smart little a miner and terran empires you see wandering around various places in the lower and sometimes even middle ranks. they keep themselves at like 1 colony which they know cant be taken live off slaves and ransack anyone they think is soft enough for them to take down.

something should be dont about this. these races dont need to be playing in such a despicable and annoying manner

thats not a bad idea. the only problem i can think of is that terrans and miners can be enslaved. it is more likely i will wind up someones slave while i am just getting started then to enslave someone. once enslaved financial progress becomes rather slowed

if you don`t like them hitting you play as terran or miner and when these "invinci`s" as you call them come out enslave them. then while they are your slave they can`t attack you and since they only have one planet they aren`t making much money so it`s hard for them to climb to really high powers to excape slavery

7ofborg stop whining i dont like 1 planet empires as well but its a playable style and if u think that they have an unfair advantage just exploit it and go 1 planet terran/miner urself

can they die? no you cant kill them hence they are invincible in the sense it doesnt matter if they are attacked or not. and i am sure you with your years of experience know how best to deal with them. but for people like me i have not a freaking clue. and not only am i at risk from them but so are my own targets whom i need to attack since i am collective and cant scout

1 planet empires arnt invincable , so deciding to call them invinci`s all of a sudden because you cant handle them isnt gona work , the name for them is pretty simple ` 1 planet empires ` or you could call a few ` slavers `

nothing is forcing you to atack them and there tactic is to make it unapealing / unprofitable as possible for people who cant handle themselves to do so , they will generally hide from those who will slap them around for personal amusement ` fighters ` usually called newb hunters , these guys will stalk them all day long and theres nothing the poor iccle 1 planet empire can do other than hide , its part of the game and what makes it fun.

if a 1 planet empire was to target me , ide be all happy , farm loads of counters by anti stacking and getting a load of wins off him , then go sit high and enjoy countering him for the next week , you could even stalk the guy till he gets planets , its rather fun seeing them unable to make a move , kinda like checkmate or something in chess yar

thats a not-smart argument. when i attack someone i do so because i have a chance of getting something i return. i may lose ships but what i hope to get in return is planets and the resources that come with them possibly even the chance of forcing someone to restart thier empire. these "invinci`s" cant be killed that way. since terrans and A miners cant lose thier last colony i cant get anything from them. so attacking them is all cost for no benefit

i would argue the cost benefit ratio of smacking them around hinders me. there is nothing to gain but you will undoubtedly lose ships attacking them

that is exactly the tactic, they want to get their peace for a while. You can smack em down if you like, if they annoy you sufficinetly, nobody hinders you.

yeah but why waste the ships? since they only have one colony there fleets are usually impressive for thier PR. my major beef is they get away with it because they cant actually be killed and there isnt any point in attacking them since you cant get anything from them

Well.... i`ve taken out a lot of slavemasters in the past.... true they don`t remain dead but they can be defeated just like any other empire...

it`s crab tast err tactics (i realize my play on words probably weill be filtered out) they cant be taken out yet they snipe the lowbies and newbies for thier win/loss ratio
