Some of you might remember I`ve made some Firefox extensions for modding the pages of GC. I host them at http://mmanir.sytes.net/gc/

I`ve been quite busy recently, so I won`t have time to add new extensions, but now and then I write myself a greasemonkey script, also for firefox.

My own greasemonkey scripts for GC are at http://mmanir.sytes.net/gc/scripts/

Sometimes they require configuration, it`s in the first several lines of each script (labelled "config"). Today I added a slight help for handling PMs.

0.3.8 is up, with Linux/Mac support back on line along with assorted bugfixes.

Known issues:
* Blood war sometimes works sometimes not, i`m rewriting the whole of Ranking tags...
* A small part of manage fleet won`t work.
* Force builds seems to be dead, i`ll fix it soon.
* CL works hellishly slow if fully extended.. Eh, more more tedius calculations it`s better to use a spreadsheet...
* Fedchat replacement won`t work as advertised. I fixed that already, it won;t be available until 0.3.9 though....

Hey! I just downloaded your GC Mod Pack. Very cool stuff. I`m surprised that it`s considered legal in the game. But it`s very exciting. Thanks for all your hard work.

I do have one issue though. The Blood War Option (One of the best in the mod pack!). Even though I have the box checked and fed names in the boxes, no names are colored in the rankings pages.

0.3.4: A lot of bugfixes. Also, most settings are enabled, to my liking, automagickally. You just have to disable what you like.

0.3.5: Check out market, forum, manage fleet page. The rest of the update is behind the scenes...

0.3.2: I fixed some bugs, and rewrote Capsule Lab. Should work way faster. All artifact data in prefs.js are now obsolete and can be removed...

Taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity i`m adding fixes that solve the issues that arise when my server is down. That, and small changes to the general script will be added in v 0.2.27, sometime later next week.

Q: I`ve heard a rumor that when using the mods, there is a possibility of having your GC password being uncovered or something on that order. Is there any possible way of this happening or have you heard of any instances of the sort?

A: Nah. in theory i could possibly write that, but there`s nothing of the like in the mod.
Feel free to check, it might be messy to look at, but the source code of the extension is freely available (in your firefox settings folder or in the xpi file itself, which is nothing else but a tarball, there is a content folder and then a anfitgcmod.js file, which is the main script of the mod, the source code as you will call it).

The script is run on al gc/gamestotal.com/* pages, so there has to be a check for in which page you`re at the moment... There are no checks for "options_password" page. At the login it does hijack what you type, but not pass but the empire name...

Of course, that is just a general overview, i`d love for someone to double check my code (and help correct silly mistakes and such).
