I know we`ve been over this over and over again, but seriously, some people just NEED cgs lol

people want food prices to rise, which means we need more tax empires, but theres no cgs for the current tax empires, let alone new ones

I honestly dont see many downfalls to just simply increasing miner industry mod and lowering miner tax mod, we already have guard/terran/viral empires on tax, we dont need tax miners too, i say discourage tax in mining and encourage CG`s

I would like CG miners to make more NET income than mineral miners, cause that way money hungery peeps will go industry miner, while lazy people will still go mineral miner... keeping the market as balanced as it will get

thats just my 2 cents, feel free to piece me up now =)

I was CG miner, all it takes is big planets and a lot of research, just like making big money is supposed to need. I was CG miner and was very well researched and when moops was a CG mienr also..... we were flooding the market with CG`s and it still wasn`t enough unless we stayed on and posted for 24 hours a day.
I think he was botting at the time and got restarted tho :(
I`m mineral miner now tho and making tens of billions is sooo easy!

make industry mod on virals stats a large positive and you may see a swap.

for it to be a sustainable market presence it needs to be on a race people play alot...sad but true

Minierial A.miner - Most profitible
TAX A.miner - Median range Profits
GC A.miner - Least profitible

I really dont care about GC`s for this server... The only races that really need them are Terran who have a HIGH demand & TAX Empires...

Only empire i know that cant live without goods pretty much is tax viral...

I would say tho Zanarkand gots a good idea with collectives & industry boost

not counting all explore races have strip mining as an income.

Also guard CAN make money going agri...just NEVER expect to make alot, and it highly NOT recommended if your wanting to fight over a mill PR ;)

Collectives have 2 ways, Aspha have 2, terran have 2, guardians have 1, marauders have 2 and virals have 2 ... thus only guards have one way of making cash ... unless you wish to be an ore stripping guard, which i cant see but on RT really.

How about boosting collectives industry mod ? So that they can make use of the Assimilated clusters ? Though i think collectives are already very powerful in turnbased server ?

Do agree that races should have more then 1 way of earning money so as to improve the games replayability.

i have never liked this `should` people keep bantering about.

The game is about choice, people want a high income. GC mining is the LEAST profitable miner aspect that is a viable option (tax - mining - CG) so many don`t bother.


being forced into an uincome I dont want is something that will make me quit the game right away, it`s about choice and coralling peole into the same income path withzero choice is a very bad idea.

Why should virals make cgs?

The same reason collectives should make food.

miners should be mineral miners, virals should make cgs, collective should make food and RM, terran should do commercial, guard should do housing, and maru should plunder.
