well, Africa i know his fleet, and judging from the necessary turns he either has a really big supply of btcs, he is really lucky at stacking not to loose many (especially lowbuildrate) ships, or he didnt fighted much in the last time.

Of course it is perfectly legal to do, fully inside the rules, so basically i dont have any reason to complain. But that does not stop me to consider the try to get the fruits of the work which was done by others as not tooo honorable. So botomline, he may got some colonies, but not my respect. Interestingly for another fedmate of you just the opposite is the case.

But come on. The high power virals were busy fighting each other. Didnt you see the big hits goin on right around you. Got nothing to do with being afraid to loose the fleet. Just that a no-chance uw attempt was not nearly as important as stripping the borders of each other. Dk and I lost almost as much pr as you did yeasterday..so come on,,

and well, Deiloche, a 60 mil pr with herc upkeep would have cost you 23 billion instead of the pyth with 3 billion. So indeed you could have afforded it one, even so you prob would have thought twice about it, but on the other side afaik Gilead woulnd have been able to pay it as he as top enemy attacked me twice with a 60 mil pr fleet....

So bottomline, (i am now actively ignoring, that you basically told me, that virals dont really need the low-upkeep ships as they make enough money) it would have required at least 50% more equally dedicated people to stop me. Well, 50% more is quite a lot....

well if it gets harder to stop a uw, it may even come to more then 1 uw in 3 years, well then we only need to introduce an artifact reset after each uw, and we may end up with a healthy game....

Yeah... imagine fighting the UW I set off earlier, without any capital ships...

Species: it wouldn`t have mattered even if I spammed a ship with hercules upkeep after you. I had the cash and the income for it, I am a tax viral.

wanna see , how will it be possible to attack a UW of max power with nerfed capital ships for every race ...

That was a really great go, species. With just a couple of supporters I think the victory would have been yours. Good luck on your new race, although they will probably nerf the capital ships of whatever you choose about a week afterwards, lol.

And do you know, what is really poor?

Some of the really big empires attack only now, after the show is gone, when they can not loose anything of their treasured fleet any more. Well, that is probably the second-biggest problem of the game, the co.wardisch behaviour of some players (which of course play viral, who knows why....)

but I only spent a couple of BTCs.... the first attack I built up over the run of a day.... so just normal turns... today I spent 3 BTCs I think.... but you are right about something being wrong with the game...

but also where were your supporters?

Yea, well, i never really thought that it goes through in the first place, so who cares.

On the other side, it is basically a very interesting result, which demonstrate the problems of the game quite clearly.... I spend approx 200 billion $ in the fleet, and it took the serious effords of only 2 virals (Deiloche and Gilead) to stop me. Well, they spend afaik arround 30btc, so they were realy quite dedicated, however afaik, neither empire was in the riches list which starts at arround 40 billion on ultra. Therefore also was no need, because a 40mil pr pyth spam is as cheap as approx 4 billion $. As comparison, that was enough to pay the upkeep for 40 turns for me at peak time.....

Yeah. It`s the starbases that are tough to crack. Now that those are effectively eliminated... the rest is a cakewalk.
