for any race other than a miner you`re better off buying CGs on the market at 4 or less as you sell to your own population at 5. think of it as `evening out` your cash flow by sinking capital sums into CG stocks which pay you back over time with a 20% extra return..

To produce goods you need Industry and raw material, but as a terran you should have Commercial or produce food to sell
