bearing in mind that certain mission requirements are needed and also are you paid or not is a factor, its listed there though after you click on options then click on change race.

it might help if you try to find someone to attack before leaving dp and as Moops said use multiple windows. Just be fast is the clue :)
moops is right i got t3 cox so i dont have to worry about loading but pple that do will have to do that i have super fast internet
newbies most of the time get attacked before they know whats going on. kinda funny & they dont like it i bet lmao.

try using multiple windows or tabs
have one window on the ranks, then a couple windows on the build ship screen
that way you just have to click back and forth instead of waiting for each separate page to load
