Reasons:
1) Lack of minerals in the market now are preventing people from building ships and attacking each other.
This results in a stangant gameplay in which no one attacks each other and new players will be very likey to quit after a few days of no battles.
2) The lack of consumer goods also prevent the Guardian Race from earning more, resulting in hardly any empires choosing to become Guardians and hence cause Virals to become too powerful as Guardians are the main race that are able to counter the Virals`s V. Borelly.
Hence there are too many virals and too few guardians around now.
3) The recent UW had caused a severe market shortage of minerals and other resourses, just as the market was starting to have a steady supply of minerals.
Hence UW should be paused for a while to prevent such market shortages.
And also, well-planned UWs now are very likely to succed as there are too few players now to stop the setter of the UW and too few minerals to build ships for a massive counter.
