reset viral shiplists already

how long has it been since the update and stuff? and who of the staff is still working on resetting viral shiplists?

the Livid/Lictor were overhauled so that Miners could have some great ships for once, not so that virals could have another "superboat" to smack people with. It`s been months since the last mention of anything regarding the viral shiplists problem, have the staff forgotten about it or simply chosen not to do it, as they seem to be doing other things just fine?

just thought ide point out even with a ship list reset if you have a fleet at the time you can just reverse them instantly

in other words even if we do this forcefully were all virals get reset at x date and x time ( your all gona be warned of when its happening ) its very easy to have 5 of each ship , even if you need to build 10 stacks of junk then 5 of each ship you want to get dp with them before hand.

*sigh* I suppose you don`t understand just how much more balanced that would make virals. While yeah, they CAN pick and choose... they would be limited in how many of what type they COULD choose.

Deil, They would still have the best of ships from each race. Or at least 3 good races. Not going to ever be balanced, regardless of what stephen does. Unless he totally changes what they do.

No... virals CAN be balanced. Stephen just doesn`t want to put in the effort it takes TO balance them. Limit to a certain number of ships per ship chassis, and make upkeep conform to ship chassis. Say, 1 juggernaught, 1 battleship, 2 dreadnaughts, 2 destroyers, 2 cruisers... etc etc.

I have a suggestion...A sucessful UW takes away 5% of the land from all colonies, and KZ will attempt a UW every other month with D.Maru protecting her:)))

All this talk of balancing Virals..It`s been tried since they came out =P Virals can`t be balanced. They are a stronger race than the rest by nature, because they take the best parts of the other races and unless they discontinued doing that, they will always be overpowered, and there isn`t anything you can do about it.

I always see people trying to get the upkeep made higher for Virals on like the Maru battleships and stuffs, In case you also hadn`t noticed, That wont do jack. Even with a higher upkeep viral are good enough a race that it`s easy for them to get a lot of land, so money isn`t an object. I do believe there are a few Virals over 30m a turn and maxed of all minerals -_- Most of them simply prefer to stay off the rich list though.

So, If you think Virals could actually fairly play with the other races, your a gonna need some new suggestions kiddy`s.

Well, any other Virals not happy with me having G.Lictors can trade ships with me and I would gladly acccept

GCL he didnt notice because i dont use them in battle anymore maybe? and meteor no actualy virals have been unbalenced if the upkeep for maru ships was fixed then maybe itd be a differnt story

GCL I would have assumed you`d realize who has what doesn`t matter so much as what`s being done about it... and Meteor, I don`t *want* your ships anyway, the reason I went back to terran from viral is so I could play as terran like I`m accustomed to.

Since Virals itself can capture different ship, even Viral vs Viral will be imbalance once the Rebalancing of Ships is done.

See, I ALMOST wouldn`t mind having virals erased... but that really isn`t fair to those who have put a lot of time and effort into said races. It would be a LOT easier to balance the race... of course, only stephen can do either option, so neither will ever happen.
