By the way. For you beginning collectives, you won`t ever need more than 6 billion in cash unless you have the nasty habit of capturing them expensive terran capital ships at high PR and use tons and tons of turns afterwards. Actually, even 1.5 billion is enough for the occasional high PR battle with mostly collective ship. You can look at per-turn losses of up to MAYBE 1.5 million a turn if you`re really high up there. And that`s with 0 food income (which, of course is more than made up for if you sell at a decent price).

yea. before the update i remember that winning battles with 120k base pr was a challenge when i was close to getting my first c4 at 36k land. Plundered it when i quit the game a month before the big collective update, but not before i got 8 billion cash and 700 million food which i later sold for a grand total of 16 billion when I came back. XD

Why anyone would have more than 10 housing for the odd cluster they might plunder is beyond me. Agri collective is much more profitable, and you don`t need to waste 10 freaking turns just to get your money. XD

maybe if there were a lot of HIGH LAND collectives that you fight, you might have a chance of winning something good. Maybe. Personally I`d rather brig spam the high PR terrans or bark spam the marus for their cheap ships XD.

Heh, most of the collectives fight low and have 1 c4 at the most. If you have 3 and base PR like 300k how are you supposed to fight them?

you have to start hitting collectives for a c2 when u got the rest

Ragnarok, that`s if you don`t have spaz, if you have one you need to win something from another collective for sure... I have 2 c4s, I think 3rd is possible to be built but who knows... 4th is quite some challenge...

and again, there is no way to cluster 4 c4s anyways since, as mentioned before, the feature was removed long ago. The low build rates and the intention of the collective race to be a mainly low pr race, as well as the low colony count of collective, make this nearly impossible.

It`s doable, but this is the situation you`re gonna end up being in unless you can somehow win clusters from another collective........

c4 + c4 + c4 + c3 + c3 + c3 + c2 + c2 + c2 + c1 + c1 + c1 + c1 = 13 colonies

You`d have to be super lucky and super good to achieve this. Even the best vets have only managed 2 c4s.....good luck getting a 3rd, much less the final fourth.....

You used to be able to make a c5 as collective, but i dont think anyone managed it. Dunno why he took it off though. was a nice chalange

heh, do you really think you can get 256 planets easily on RT? With collective? I think you are clueless how difficult it is to get and keep nice planets after you finish your 2nd c4 and have spaz and start making another cluster...

initially there was going to be a c.5 (4 c.4`s or 4x64 planets) but then they realized there`s no way a collective would ever even be able to hold that many planets so it was disregarded..

u cant make 256 planet clusters anymore been nerfed
