Viral Re Ships- The musical.

I think i might have a simplish solution to the viral ship upkeep predicament, though it might take a little bit of time to code for stephen. in other words it`s not going to happen. ever. but hey, what the fruit, ya know? I was thinking that instead of when they reverse their ships and they just become theirs that the ships class changes as well, to say... "Re. Empereur" for example and directly after it is Re`d it will have the .7:1 upkeep. that way we wouldn`t have to worry about marauders having to deal with outrageous upkeep as well as virals.

I think it would be a simple idea, but maybe im completely wrong. maraudian, am i on the right track doood?

Not that it`s the same concept, but Terrans have it easiest with Explores. =P

since when has it been possible for mass Marauder UW`s

Marauder & Collective = hardest races to do UW`s

Viral & A miner = Easiest

In fact if you screw virals there will be mass marauder and miner UWs.

however yes i do like this idea , but their are a few other idea`s out their on this topic that are also rather nice and worth concidering , but like always , `stephen` needs to do something or other

its a nice sounding solution

however im not sure if the shiplist has a amount of ship limit

we currently filled it with D maru , but as stephen only gave eternus a tiny lil chunk of power who knows =/

however it would need to be doubled almost and every ship`s upkeep / class / name reconstructed to `shipname`(r)

only problem with this is that u`d end up with virals having ships like niv and herc with and upkeep of 7-1 now i no comm terrens make more than comm virals but i`m pretty sure its nt 7* more ........

lol but this only has to apply to maru ships, cos if it`s applied across the board, and it applies to terran / a.miner ships as well, the upkeep`s gonna be killer for viral
