I Figured someone Would make a thread about this again, So If you want to discuss the mineral bot that has just been set up again please do so here.

It will post
- consistant supply of all minerals
- Batches of 9,999,999
- ALL Max price

The reasons for doing this are?
Well GC is looking slightly limp at the moment to say the least. If you were a new signup, the excuse of "Just wait 2 hours hitting reload" doesnt exactly cut it.

We need new meat, and before that happens, We need to keep those that do come in. And those that have been around a long time and wish to complain, try restarting as terran and getting set up. It isnt easy and it defeats the purpose of the game, To have a past time where you can Have fun :)

boo hoo, there`s a bot selling minerals at 1k and I cant be bothered selling mine at 999.. boo hoo

The bot is NOT doing anything to stop aminers from posting minerals and STILL making money.

The reason I don`t like the bot is becuase its disrupting the natural flow of the game. I realy like this game but if it keeps going the way it is now then I`ll just quit.

Exactly Galactic, Warp ... it does hurt aminers as it was thier edge to play the game, now that the bot does htis, I no longer play as A Miner cuz honestly the ships need major improvements.

Why play A miner now when you can be terran, or another race, make good money and have better ships with minerals on market in abundance thanks to Kazul :P

WarpSpeed: Theres no point in being a Miner now. Since minerals are a given now. Why play a rich race when it can`t fight. The only reason to go miner before was minerals and the bot does that now. So why even have minerals?

many people cannot spend hours playing the game, so if they have to wait that long just to get minerals, Do you expect them to stay around? since minerals are REQUIRED to build ships, they should be avaliable at all times. The bot does nothing to hurt A. Miners. They still sell their minerals if they post them.

You both are sort of right. Like Mass said the ships can be stacked with, it just takes some time to learn. But unowned has a point. Its just to hard for newer player to learn. Miner ships don`t need to be tottally changed. They just need to be tweaked so its easier to battle with. Nothing big. In my opinion Miners are one of the worst thought through races next to Viral. Eho wants to play a race with LOADS of cash but nothing worthwhile to spend it on?

as u said, stacking, creating stacks aren`t easy, i tried, and what about the upkeep, whenever i push my pr to 200k, using turns will cost me so much.

unowned, You dont seem to get it. Miners ships are fine, and Ive hoarder 150 planets as miner in about 3.5 days after restart. It`s the fact that most miners are lazy and dont wanna spend time learning to use em and stacking. What we could use is higher build rates so we can keep up in power with at least the Terran..though there have been countless discussions on this..The bot..I dont like it :X

bot is easy, but should the game be? should everything you want be there for the taking at every time of day as much as u want? I think it ruins the game, when looking for an hour or two, watching market etc then quickly taking post gives you much better feeling than when u have unlimited minerals for the taking. You could place minerals online when there aren`t any in a certain period of time... but not like this...

I think the bot is great. People selling minerals for income only lose $1 per unit, and people who buy loads from KalZul lose $1 per unit when selling it back, so its like a tax on mineral horders... =D

i think the bot shouldn`t be online all the time. Ok sometimes it`s hard to find the minerals that you need but for me this is part of the game. Maybe you could put it online occasionally when market is empty for a period of time. Like this you are taking out 1aspect of the game... Sometimes i have to keep track of market for several hours before getting what i need, but again, for me this is part of the game... i think this is not a good decission... game is perfect without bots for me. Game is very good btw

unowned4ev-i kinda agree whit what u are saying about exsploring not being a good option i think if we had a few better ships to battle for planets it would be alot more fun im not saying new ships just work on the old ones. thoe at the presant time i am a mineral miner and i have found that its quite difficult to get planets to do it and battles are okay but the problem seems to be the ships they have a few good ships but not many but soon as u get high up in the power ratings u have no real chance unless u no exsactley what they have or use counters lol

its not that miners aren`t suppling enough minerals, is that they have no ships in order to fight for planets to mine minerals. exploring planets is not a good option because it uses up many money. its ships has high upkeep too, if suppling minerals is what you wanted, why bother even if a.miners are the richest, trying to balance the game and gave them so lousy ships if high upkeep.

Wasn`t the KalZul going to try an UW one time per month unless one of us attempt? When he comes on, he always floods the market with a ton of minerals. I think having him around for a few days every month would help supplement the market, but a permanent bot might ruin the miner race. He should be able to post enough minerals every month for people to stockpile what they need. Also, if he does set off the UW, then the hoarders will have their cash wiped down to nothing and they will have to start posting again.

I think the bots a good idea... At least the last few GC players can at least fight to the end.
