I`ve downloaded the Client, but I can`t see any difference in the game. Firefox won`t even recognize it (at first, anyway); Explorer will, but there`s still no difference between the two. What does the Client do? What is the difference and how do I know that it`s working?

There are a few minor differences... a couple of the images are different. The little "B" icon after your border colonies is different for example

the client stores images and contstant pages in the game to make for faster loading time
you won`t see a visible difference though in any of the pages just faster loading time from page to page
