i know that the chat is used by both GC and UC and that the UC have there own chat...how come the GC don`t have one...as a GC player i somtime wish there was a GC chat cuzz its kinda sucks that only UC player are on chat 90% of the time... could there be for just the GC players too like the UC one?

Well there are good point and bad one yes it would kinda be loney on GC chat but there has been time were i`ve like needed some type of goods and i ask on the all chat and only UC players reply and its kinda frustreating And like Hevvaearth stated it could be at the bottem...like on the left side under the donate link and it could be like 1/2 the size of the one on the right and just for the GC players.

Well, you could also have it so that at the bottom it could show: GC or UC. That`d work right?

thank you...its great to know were some ppl stand...i`d love it for that too...i kinda dislike ppl asking for lords and vassles...cuzz i don`t know what those are...

i think there should be an extra chat (just for GC) it would rock bcoz we`d be able to talk to just GC players (and the reason thers just UC is because us GC dnt go onit coz theres just UC (boring) id be onit all the time if there wasent boring UC players spamming the chat with UC stuf)

No I`m not... personally I don`t like UC... I find GC to be more strategic wheras UC is more of a click fest...

Here`s the thing... the chat is more of a side thing... it`s intended to be used as a way of talking to other players in between turns... and since you pointed out that 90% of the people in the chat are in UC, can you imagine how boring and lonely the GC chat would be?

well, it could,but here is the thing, i am not stephen.
but if you gain support for this, and bring it to him, perhaps he will consider some way to accomadate the need for communication in each game to take place in seperate chats

but there are advantages to having them combined, for players who play both games, and also to attract players from one game to another, also, for us guides and answering questions, although we have to look up what game they are from, at least its all in one place. although we have quite a number of guides, for both GC and UC, so i guess each guide can go to their game`s chat and answer questions and moderate etc.
there are many directions this could go in. but a lot of details like that to be worked out, but good suggestion.

well could it be like one for the GC and one for the UC and the same one for the both??? i love to have a chat with just GC players

well, that has been purposed before, and i support it.
having the chat`s together makes it hard for guides to see if they are asking about UC or GC, beucase there are many similarities in each game, like ship names etc.
and also, its confusing when you may advertised for something on your server, and forget to mention which game you are on as well.

having the chats together is nice, but it would be better if seperated, or have some option to switch between them

until then you can hop on IRC, most of the guys on there are GC, or were orginally GC
