he build up very fast. whack me in no time. after attack hide in NP (ok, that`s fine). later he restart empire (wth?). build up again. attack me again. hide in NP again. restart empire again. repeat over n over again.

now that`s annoying, escape from counter attack with restart option. abusing with the restart empire option :(

1)he has more turns because he saves STCs(probably) and uses all his turns saved at the end of his one week+ VM
2)we don`t have as much turns(excluding me, I am maru) because after all, the big empires have to struggle for borders and fight
3)skyview does that each and every week

but nayhows your bottom line is correct , the player has to resort to sacrifisng 3 days of turns or more constantly just to hide , is he really worth 2 seconds of your time complaining and claiming abuse of loopholes cheats and so on , hes just using cowardly/low tactic`s to ensure he stays ontop , but like i said if you were to sacrifise 3 days of turns you can easily counter him multiple ways

Maraudian: have you ever tried making historias on Slow? try it while also holding on to some clusters..... thats really not an option....

nah , claiming its cheating just to avoid the facts is ignorant , im trying to avoid arguing with you , but theres numerous tactics you can use to counter his tactic be it np or vm, and yes if hes taking full advantage of np / vm there are tactics you can use to counter him if hes truly getting the better of you

at the top of my head without thinking much for slow server, spending alot of time gathering artifacts for historia / time caps would be very usefull ( but would take alot of time ) certainly something i would do if i was actively playing that gamespeed.

i mean , a historia or two would force him back into VM or force him to leave dp with no turns , and in 3 days it would be easy to make another small stock

theres also using his tactic against him untill you get the upperhand and get one over on him for a change, then you can easily keep him in controll if your determined

but hell feel free to disagree argue claim its cheating or whatever makes you feel better

That`s an excellent point wingding... particularily the "double turns" bit. It`s a shame when things like VM mode are abused... it`s such an obvious flaw it seems to me that VM mode can be used at any time but I also know that it`s very imporant to have it when you can`t be at your comp for awhile so idk...

i agree, it is a tactic, not a favourite one of mine

for example WarpSpeed sitting in Np, or even better Startopia (but he only enalsved offline empires)

You have a the large number of players fighting over a counter that may (if you are good) appear for a matter of seconds

I myself remember countering Warp from 120 mil pr to 6k ! LOL

You muts adapt, punish them or even better play out of their range, though this is a tactic of limited success on turnbased (and as pointed out, any player of reasonable skill can dodge a large amount of counters) on RT this tactic is obsolete, favoured by those sitting in NP

This is NOT allowed cheating, it is withing the parameters of the rules of the game, i dislike it but it does not cramp my game

I have limited experience on turn based, having given away my Fast and Ultra servers, but on Normal and Slow there are few targets except for near NP, i doubt anyone would amass that many counters

tis tactics , same as NP , however NP is alot better
