Viral Race is unbalanced

I never thought I`d see the day Collective were considered to strong =P

I wish I hadnt restarted my 180 day old collective empire >_< *cries*

Virals will be balanced when two things happen.

-Upkeep is standardized to .75/PR (roughly, .8 is too high, .7 might be too low)
-Limited chassis type is implemented. (1 Battleship, 1 juggernaught, 2 destroyers, etc.)

just fix the viral upkeep problem, thats sufficient.

A.miner need an anti Pyth & Pike ship... maybe even T.Guarnda kinda... ???

But the Terran & Viral still rule... i have no problem with Guards Raping... Guards are meant to control the ranks

I`m A.miner & well i dont have a problem with battling... i lose easier yes... I think it is F****ed up that A.miner dont get an Increased build rate on its ships like maru... now A.miner really cant keep up with any race

Yes to sparta`s suggestions, except for changing the econ mods. Perhaps in the future, but fo now doing that could further unbalance the game by adding yet another food consumer.

miners dont complain even though they are easily beaten by virals and collectives and terrans and maybe marus and guards

I agree its unbalanced and i`m a viral

easy fix though

reduce colony count to 10 (like other 2 hard races)
make ship upkeep to power .8 to 1
lower ship cost back down to regular price
change mods for com to -40% and tax mod to +30%

And there you go viral will now be perfectly balanced

If something does work you can try something else.

terrans are not weak, as long as u no how to use em then they can pretty much be adapted to any situation

Sounds like you should get better at battleing instead of the game dumbing down for you.

Viral are to easy... 30 day old Empires are battling freely at 10+ mil power & they can go to 500k to 1 mil & hit newbieies & run high... i would know... did it last time i was a viral... i loved countering then hehe... but i was more aggressive with attacking people...

Pyth & pike seem to be a good A.miner Killer....

virals are also supposed to be better because they are a paid race. If they were the same as terrans, less ppl would buy paid accounts. stop whining about it too

No offense, but if you cannot beat a Viral, you have quite a bit to learn.
