yar well i kinda feel like holding a few special events and eternus is in the mood too however the main reason we avoid these is the attitude of you lot ( the players ) so well , rather than just do them your gona vote

simple as that , just post the number + yes/no/reason for each gamespeed and event
if its yes it will be held and anyone who whine/flame will not be welcome to the gamespeed(s) in question while they are held.
if no then as simple as that , they wont be held on that gamespeed

now as i decided long before i became admin and seen the attitude of the players towards pandy who went out her way 24/7 to hold Dm`s for you all , i will never ever hold / help set up a DM

so the events will simply be kalzul/lucas type npc`s doing various things.
now ill try my best to list what each npc will be doing ect.

1.Kalzul - max PR Ultimate Weapon ( max Pr for RT and Ultra then fair decrease for other turnbased )
(Rt will have a lucas style guard that will have PR restrictions)

2.Asmodai - Custom PR / stack Ultimate Weapon ( max Pr for RT and Ultra then fair decrease for other turnbased )

3.Lucas(s) - Custom PR Stack`s / dp outings with custom rewards for winning

the rewards for taking part in these events will be based on merrit and will be offered to you after the events have ended.

RE : Vultures.
I think the only fear players have is not so much being derailed by an attack but rather having their colonies taken away. We can deal with vultures, as long as colonies are not transferred.

Regarding the vultures who attack people during the special event, as much as I hate when it happens to me, I think the fact that we are doing this for a good reward means that we have to be willing to take a little bit of risk. This way, a lot of people may be active on the server and prowling for people who come out of dp to attack the NPCs. It would essentially be a way for them to defend the NPCs during the UW attempts.

As for me, I never do anything without plenty of borders, and if the vultures attack they only get rubbish. But I don`t think any penalties or dis-incentives should be put into place for those who want to capitalize on the special events by attacking other players rather than the NPCs. As I will be attacking the NPCs though, I certainly won`t complain if these protective measures are put in place.

RT: Yes to all 3. I agree with Hiigarrans though, there should be soem sort of restriction or penalty for non-collective/maru players who attack during this period. Don`t prevent the attacks altogether, just do something that makes the spoil sport think about it first ;)

what`s the main purpose of the event? unite all playres to whack NPC?

so, if ur event was try to unite all the players to gang the NPC, i dont mind that. but, can we restrict to attack each other when the event was going on?

i hate to say this, when we all participate the event, there are always some freaks pop up n attack players n ruin the event.

this is will just spoil the players mood n no one will care on event anymore later. that`s 1 of the main reason for KalZUl blow us away for afew time.

however no to ultimate weapon npc on ultra as other players seem to have one planned and some other reasons ( not sure if its because of the last one or not but i kinda got alot of nice feedback and thanks from that one , from everyone who took part anyhows )

Drunkenmaster, with pyths + strafez ships lots of players could earn cash at 1000mill.P too. It is people out there on Ultra earning 30 mill.+ pr. turn. With that income you can support a nice stack and be unreachable for most players. I think it would be more fun if people had to protect their clusters from everyone, not only those willing/able to climb for weeks to reach the tops.

Lots of players on Ultra can make UWs, it is mainly a matter of staying awake for 48 hours and to avoid artis. It is just too much artis around....! If you cant stay awake for 48 hours you have to go really high - higher you go then more time you buy yourself for sleeping! Good luck whoever who tries - and I will not fight any UW if it is not from one of the top5 feds (my power is just my artis these days).
