yeah virals speak up..

the cheap maru ships are one of the only good thing about the viral race

the main viral flagship ship has been nerfed and is now demotted to the rear ranks as it is no good in defence against any 9 range ship. Tthey take absolutely ages to build too which is not good

Isnt that enough for all you anti viral guys ?

learn to stack and study ship attributes and defence mods is what i would say to anyone wanting to mod the game.

maybe make all viral ships .7 or .8 upkeep/pr although that would lower upkeep for miner ships it would make it higher for maru and possibly slightly higher for some terran ships(thats from memory so may be incorrect) by doing this it would encourage virals to use different types of ships as the whole upkeep would be pr based. This might affect high pr too much though

how you gonna program this?
make all viral ships upkeep higher and keeping them as same stack when build as a viral? separete upkeep counter for viral? thats hard..I think the game is programmed to read the upkeep per ship..not by race.

make it a different version with different upkeep like the G.Livid(r)..but will show up as a different stack? This will save lots of hours programming but dyou want 2 stacks of Pyths coming at you?

humm a increase in marauder upkeep is not going to do much really unless you make RE marauder ships have mineral increases as well.

no, virals need maru ships, viral ARE a paid race dont want to make em worse then most free races maru ships are the main thing keeping virals powerful:P
