Fed Feature

I just thought of one very simple fed feature that would be extremely usefull. Why not having a flashing indicator for new posts in the fed discussion page similar to the one you get for new PMs. The biggest problem I have as a leader is getting people to check the board regularly. A bright flashing button would encourage ( or at least irritate) people to check the board to see whate their mates have to say.

Uhhh.. NO. No offense rorhirrum, but there is already a game like that called UC. The less of that mess that stephen infects us with the better.

How about a fed feature. where all in the fed can contribute ships to a federation battilion 10 stacks big. and using this battilion in a fed war battle.(Both battilions at the same pr)
- Each fed putting up credits/ minerals/ etc
- Split up the botty after the battle

ah, yes, that`d be useful :) that would also probably become sort of like the forum think kusari is talking about, because it would flash in the PM and all members would get it...thats a kinda cool idea saga :D

I`d like to see somthing set up so i can Pm ALL my members at once instead of having to send everyone a seperate pm with the same message on it

I was actually talking to salyn BadSicillian, I missed your post. I actually really like your idea. If you have ever played fleets of anarchy (if you haven`t and you want to PM me for a link ;) ), they have something very similar.

lol, i realize it is not as big a problem as ppl not checking the fed forum, just figured i`d toss mine in here instead of create another thread since this one has such a broad topic :) but yes, kusari has a rather nice idea :) which is much more important in my oppinion :D

Real time chat isn`t the problem. Sometimes though you need to make an annoucement and it would be a major pain to PM everone.

Just get every fedmate to sign up in MSN or some other chat program.

Hey why dont you talk to stephen about this heh? apparently GC will never be updated again at this rate with that Next update question for uc.
GC would be a great game ONlY if Stephen would work on it more.

i was thinking of another one too, where there was a chat box for your fed and alliances in place of the regular chat box, like make it alink to click when you want to chat to a few of your mfed mates and all, since some people don`t want to get chat software and whatnot, this would ake it slightly easier to keep in touch, but kusari has a nice suggestion as well :D
