Have staff become dumber?

I helped advertise GC by informing UC players of how UC is for n00bs and GC pwns them... unfortunately, most n00bs like being n00bs.

well, i did help to adv GC. i even asked Eternus to get the banner link to work, so i can redirect the image to SFGC.

anyway, it didnt work well because i cant do much alone :(

Pandy that is a excellent point it would be better to convert players than to push them away , there is a virtual goldmine out there waiting to be tapped .

in 2004 there wasn`t even 1/4 of the players that there are on uc. If you want a real figure go ask treg, he`s on IRC in the #spacefed channel, its not a difficult task.

same applies to guides. though on gc probably only need 1/4 of what is here, there is nothing for them to do, not only is the game not promoted or promoted as much, but gc players are so rat mean to some guy asking questions on chat usually that you don`t even encourage a uc player to want to come and play this game.

think about that long and hard, uc is advertised lots, so why not make friends with those players and steal them for gc. If you really cared about how little a amount of GC players there were you`d be proactive about it and do this, but no, its far easier to complain blames others and rag on the `uc newbies`.

And if you think saying that less staff is needed you`ll have to lock horns with stephen, he`s constantly asking for more and more, not less and less.

You didn`t get what I said. Cheaters getting smarter implies that the same cheaters are now smarter. Smarter cheaters means you have new cheaters that are smarter than the old ones. :D

the staff is doing what it can do which is pretty much nothing...
if you want something to change get stephen to spend 10 min a year on this game... or start another revolt
