Do u get planets, by enslaving empires

that`s because there are two different kinds of attacks, enslave and normal. When people attack you and take planets they`ve chosen the normal attack. When they enslave you they have chosen enslave attack. It`s not possible to enslave and steal planets with the same attack.

Then why when other empires attack me, I lose planets

No, when you do an Enslave attack on a Terran or Aminer and you win the battle you enslave them, but dont get any planets. They do get DP at the same time when you do. They then pay 15% of their positive income to you in the form of tribute. You can see how much tribute your slaves have gotten you by clicking on slave empires.
