indeed, we`ve tried many times to ask for it back, i think there have been posts with many signatures on them and they were just ignored

Ok i agree with what you said there i was just pointing out the original reason for removing it which i agreed with at the time(i was new and thought the bug might actually be fixed :P)

i realise about the bug story, the fact is the bug hasnt been fixed. Bugs are fixable!!!!

The reason it hasnt been fixed is as i stated, not to mention the aditional point of apathy on regard of stephen towards GC.

Bring back voting!

It was actually removed because there was a bug that meant you could take votes across from another fed(i wont explain how) but a 1 planet empire could have enough votes to take a fed even if noone in the fed actually voted for them

elections were removed so stephen could make more money by people having to pay to create new federations rather taking them over by votes.

they were also removed because people complained that spies taking over by votes was `unfair`.... actually this was the main ways (nearly the only way) of winning wars for most of GC`s life until it got removed.

After 1 and a half years of it being removed why hasnt the bug been fixed, why hasnt elections been returned. The reasons are above!!!!

if that happens i will just make sure not to accept anyone who has left a fed since the last refresh :P

theres no risk in high planet players moving round feds anymore, its boring, fix it and bring it back along with all the other fed features were waiting for..

All members can PM Admin for a leader change ( this is incase leader goes innactive )
Leader alone can PM admin for leader change ( mainly for if leader is going away or leaving ect )

players can disband there own feds , they dont need admin to do it

elections was removed due to bug exploitation, this wasnt to do with leader and kicking

you can still have a say in who the leader is!
The offical way is for all members to pm admin & request the leader change

The easy method is to get the empire who wants to be leader build a fleet so they are the highest PR in the fed & then the current leader resigns (this will allow the new leader & will not disband the federation)
