new federation features

Ah, I see. The reason I said that is because you idea for fed wars is exactly how UC works. You get a bunch of `systems` each of which has x number of planets, and you build and assign ships to your different systems.

None taken, I was just posting a possible feature.
I have never played at UC, so I have no idea how this would/could relate to that.

No offense Tygor, but if we wanted to have that kind of system, we would go to UC.

0.0 a point system for fed wars....

you get so many points for defeating a certain person in an enemy fed..say you beat a guy thats won 90% of his battles with your fed mates/you you`d get lots more points for defeating him as opposed to beating the guy that won only 10% of his battles with your fed mates/ you in the past.....and maybe the ability for the fed leader to put a point bounty on a specific enemy`s defeat

and a rank system might not be such a bad idea...make up some bogus busy work that that rank will have the priviallge of attending to

hmm a fed that means something....a clear winner in a war...some statistic page that show`s %of battles won and lost to a certian fed. a fed tag would be nice... even if it`s something a simple as the old _KoA kind of thing i can think of more things but there corney overpowering or they just seem like a good i dea to me right now and i know better than to post them

Here`s a silly thought, but it may work for feds:

1 > Each Fed member will give one planet over to the Fed (no U planets) upon joining

2 > The Fed Leader (or can be assigned) will manage these planets for Federation funds and defenses.

3 > The Fed ships will be researched the same as all feds, BUT can only research 1 or 2 of different races (if a fed member is of that race..meaning no Guardians in your fed, no Guard ships) and all Neutral ships. This can be adjusted if anyone wants to push this idea. Also Fleets will be assigned to planets. Example
Planet A assignment
100 S Queens
75 T.Garuda
50 Pike

4 > Fed Wars (except rename to skirmishes) will continue as now, BUT each member will get support ships from the Fed Ships in there 3rd or 4th stack (kinda like enslavery) for either attacking or defending. These win/losses per member may be a way for a Fed to determine new rankings)

5 > A new Fed War will be created where the two fed leaders will coordinate a battle time and the Fed Ships will be used by the members Example:
Monday @ 8pm is KA-TET vs Area7
KA-TET has decided to attack Area 7`s planet A
KA-Tet can only use a specific number of ships (this can be decided upon in later discusiions)
KA-TET Leader will tell Member A to go on the first battle against Area 7`s Member A using type and number of ships. (Battles determined in PM between leaders)
Results returned to leaders like this:
KA-TET wins, number of remaining ships for both sides.
This continues until no ships are left from KA_TET`s attacking Fleet or Area 7`s planet.
If KA-TET wins, the planet is now owned by KA-TET, if Area 7 Wins, they get 10% of KA-TET"S remaining fleet. (Remember, these are Fed Planets/ships not individual members).

Ok..just my thoughts....I took this idea from my old Mech Warrior days

Here is what I would like to see:

A) VERY LIMITED ability to tranfer money and resources with a fed.

B) An improved fed war system. Make a fed war like a mini death match. Both parties have a set number of victory conditions they can pick from a list. The fed war would then begin and whoever fulfills a victory condition first wins. The winner of the fed war gets a prize of somekind, the looser would incur a penalty. The prizes and penalties would depend on what victory conditions were selected.

what ever... something on fed wars need 2 be changed as they suck lol

lol i dont know if that would work sumthing like federation missions perhaps instead of empire ones?

how about adding a chess or poker game on the federation page, so members can gamble their excess resources and even artifacts .... =)

I agree EPrussia, giving awards going to your fed`s rank and war lenght is a great way to make it valuable. For example, each fed war attack would have it`s reward, i.e. I get you Y planets, and it adds X% chance to add item Z to fed`s *war cart*, I enslave you, and it adds H% to add item M to fed`s *war cart*, I lose to you, and it adds G% to add item J to your fed cart & T% to remove item R in my own fed cart.... and so on

....my idea is better XD lol, they just need to make em better theyre just a thing atm no meaning 2 it

fed wars suck... they just add a bit more range so we can attack ppl in the enemy clan..

fed wins and losses:
i reckon like u donate ships into an area for the fed war.... and it will last maybe a week and the winner get a win for win and losses, so feds might not have a fed war with the top feds
